Hospitality Tutor / Assessor (date posted: 9 June 11)
We need you to be qualified at D32/D33 or A1 and have a recognised teaching qualification such as PTTLS or equivalent with 3 years minimum occupational background in HOSPITALITY, covering all aspects including front of house, Food & beverage, Housekeeping, professional COOKERY & customer Service.
You should be comfortable with managing and maintaining a caseload of 20-25 candidates, delivering at levels 3 including key skills to level 2 and provide evidence of achieving a completion rate minimumm of 85%.
You should be comfortable in delivering to a 14 - 19 age group, be able to supervise staff and learners whilst our Academy restaurant is open for business, including running the restaurant with apprentices and learners, also take on teaching responsibilities to free up Academy manager, which will include the developing and delivery of schemes of work, lesson plans and curriculum.
You'll be a consummate professional, passionate about people development and focused upon delivering a high quality service to candidates and their employers.
Organisation skills, ability to travel regionally, own transport and efficiency with a hardworking background are non negotiable for this role.
