Charnwood Staff Graduates of 2010

Graduation is a unique occasion in which is publicly recognising the outcome of student determination, commitment and sheer hard work. 

Marking a moment in history; Jeremy Scorer (Managing Partner), Richard Sanders (Training Team Leader), Anne Harvey (Training Officer Mentor) and Anthony Rose (Academy Training Officer) successfully attained their Postgraduate Certificate in Licensed Retail Training at the University of Wolverhampton.

Attending a prestigious Graduation ceremony, all four stars took to the stage to receive their commemorative scroll and certificate.

The Postgraduate Certificate Licensed Retail Training is a specialist course designed to equip the graduates with mastery of a range of cognitive, intellectual, personal and interpersonal skills and subject specific knowledge suited to a career in Licensed Retail Training.

In order to attain this award, students are required to study two mandatory subjects

Licensed Retail Training

Research Methods for Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality

Along with three optional modules

Strategic Marketing for Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality

Managing Human Resources in Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Organisations

            Financial Management for Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality

Recognising technology excellence in FE & Skills Winner

Charnwood Training Group is the proud winner of the prestigious Work Based Learning Award at the second annual Next Generation Learning Awards for its inspiring use of technology to excite and encourage learning in this important sector.

These awards from BECTA, the government agency for technology in learning, aim to reward technological excellence in the Further Education and Skills sector. They celebrate the very best practice across the country and are one of the most important and respected awards in the sector's calendar.

The awards identify and reward organisations throughout the UK that use technology in outstanding or innovative ways for the benefit of learners, communities and local employers.

On winning the award, Jeremy Scorer, Managing Partners of Charnwood Training Group, said:
