We have teamed up with Red Hot World Buffet to recruit 200 new apprentice.
Tracy Wood, Business Development Manager for Charnwood said, "This is a massive opportunity for Charnwood to be working with a diverse restaurant chain. It will allow young people that have missed out on employment, training or further education from Manchester, Nottingham, Leicester, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Liverpool, Leeds and Cardiff to learn alongside a team of highly skilled chefs and front of house staff.
Charnwood training has been working in partnership with Red Hot Buffet since July to supply the recruitment of apprentices by region to support Red Hot World Buffet's apprenticeship and recruitment targets.
Charnwood will also identify further opportunity to deliver relevant vocational qualifications to the current Red Hot World Buffet team members.
New embedded learning materials have been developed in conjunction with Red Hot World Buffet to fully integrate vocational learning within the business.
Helen Dhaliwal said ""We feel the Red Hot World Buffet & Bar's apprenticeship scheme is an excellent way to give back to the local communities that are so integral to our success. The company is expanding by 300 per cent from six to 18 restaurants over the next three years, and if this scheme is successful we intend on becoming the biggest provider of apprenticeships in the UK"
Red Hot World Buffet employs 650 staff and is to open its seventh restaurant in Cardiff this month.
In Manchester alone, it serves dishes from around the world to more than 10,000 people a week. A total of 29 apprentices are starting with the group this month -- 14 are based in Manchester
